Empowerment has been the hallmark of Hon Prince Doodei week and the  is not new in Nigeria society especially in the political setting with most politicians using it as a wheel to power but at the end, fail to empower the youths who constitute the highest percentage of the population in their  Community  due to political difference.

Hon Prince Doodei week over the years he has been among those who stood for  youth empowerment particularly in the Niger Delta region.

Hon Prince Doodei week has over the years stood for the empowerment of youths particularly in the Niger Delta region. As a youth himself, he saw the underdevelopment and neglect of the his people the (Ijaw people) and most especially the youths by the Federal Government inspite of the enormous amount of wealth extracted from the  region. This was what motivated him  to take the pain his heart to see that majority of the youths are empowered.

Today  majority of the youths has been empowered in one way or the other while some were sent to Songhai port novo to acquired varieties of skills while some where empowered with cash to setup a business while some were liberated from tenants to landlords also some were given a starter  park worth  hundreds of thousands,hence when it comes to youths empowerment he doesn't see it as a issue of partisan politics.

Today one of the youths has empowered, Comr  Elijah Promise and his wife play host to him  today been 26th of May,2016. in his hometown Anyama-Ijaw commiunty of Tarakiri Clan Southern-Ijaw Bayelsa state in the present  of  the Paramount Ruler HRH Amen Sariki and the two  former CDC chairman Hon Kuromotimi  Abacha and Seidougha Sariki  also the former Youth President.

In his statement comr Elijah he said we  come today to appreciate  you for your kind gesture towards me and my extended family sliver and Gold i have none but may the Almighty God grant you long life ,sound and as well elevate you beyond your recognition.

In his response Snr Comr Myson Izon-ebi also applauded the husband and wife for playing host to the honourable commissioner and his entourage,while  speaking he said they should channel their attributes of praises to God almighty and The Restoration government of Gov Seriake Henry Dickson for given him Prince Doodei week the opportunity to empower youths in the Niger Delta particularly Bayelsa state he said.
