The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Sunday 20th of May 2018 received over 1,000 All Progressive Congress (APC) members back to PDP the largest political party in the whole of Africa in a day after APC parallel congress that was held in Bayelsa State.
In a join statement made available by Hon. Keku Godspower State Secretary of the Party and Hon. Prosper A Alale Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Sagbama Local Government Area while receiving the returnees, urge leaders of various wards to treat the returnees the way other members of the Party are treated and advice that the returnees should at all point channel their complains to the LGA Party leadership if any leader tries to discriminate them. Hon. Alale added that no Party will win even a polling unit in Bayelsa State except PDP.
The returnees while burning the symbols of the All Progressive Congress (APC) described the Party as deceitful and faceless, adding that nothing good comes out of the Party. They also use the medium to call on their colleagues to dump APC and join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for a better political participation.www.elayeyagilaigbian.blogspots.com
