The National President of the most revered Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Barr. Pereotubo Oweilaemi has condemned in very strong term the invasion of the country home of Hon. Kingsley Kuku the former Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
It is very sad and condemnable too for a group of fully armed and combat ready mobile policemen numbering over 30, invaded the home of Hon. Kingsley Kuku at Arogbo in Ese-Odo Local Government Area under the guise and pretense of searching for kidnappers, whereas the IYC has earlier gotten wind of plans by the Federal Government to incriminate, indict and also set up Hon. Kingsley Kuku and other great, illustrious and very distinguished sons and daughters of the Ijaw Nation before the 2019 General Elections.
We use this opportunity to urge the APC led federal government to desist from their satanic plans. It is very sad and unfortunate too that the only way President Muhammadu Buhari has decided and also chosen to repay the magnanimity of former President Goodluck Jonathan is to declare total war against the Ijaw Nation who have remained the closest, most reliable, trusted and dependable political ally of the North since the inception of our political evolution but most especially since the inception of our contemporary democracy.
We admonish President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency and great concerns, call all his attack dogs to order so that they can desist forthwith from the unprovoked and unwarranted attacks against our people.
We expect Mr. President to see and also treat all Nigerians as his own by virtue of his position as the father of all Nigerians.
We also wish to urge Mr President to do something very drastic and timely too about the ceaseless and endless killings of innocent and defenseless Nigerians especially the recent killings in the North Central while wishing Your Excellency divine health and God's continual guidance and protection.
