SOCIO-CULTURAL ORGANISATION CONFERS HUMANITARIAN AWARD ON THE BAYELSA STATE COMMISSIONER FOR AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES.

The Zozotari-Ogbo of Anyama -Ijaw, on Saturday  honoured one of their own Hon Prince Doodei Week for his humanitarian activities since he assumed office as the Bayelsa state Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources.Zozotari-Ogbo is said to be a socio-cultural organisation made up of upright individuals of Anyama-Ijaw Community that is made up of upright individuals of Anyama-Ijaw Community who sees love as foundation of peace and developmental tools in the community.




The Evergreen Award for Humanitarian Service plaque was presented to the Agric Commissioner at the Grand ceremony in yenagoa which was attended by the  Chairman of Southern-Ijaw Local Government Council Chief Hon Kia Nigeria, and Hon Monday Obolo Edwind Bubo member representing the great distinguished people of Silga Constituency 2 , in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

In his Opening remark ,Hon Monday Obolo Edwind Bubo  who chaired the occassion noted that, he his not surprised by the recognition of the award because the conduct of the Agric commissioner  had been characterised by service to humanity and the progress by which he has revolutionalised the state  Ministry of Agricluture he noted.

Justifying the conferment of the award, the Chairman of the socio-cultural group  Prof. Allison E. Martin former Dean of Faculty of Agric Niger Delta University, cited that Hon Doodei Week leadership role  as Commissioner of Agric and member of Bayelsa State Executive Council has contributed greatly to the enhancement of the Agricultural sector in State.hence the award is recognition of his track record of leadership.  

The event was attended by dignitaries around the state, such as the former caretaker chairman of Southern-Ijaw Local Government Council Hon Erena Kekebo, Hon Kuromotimi Abassa Chairman PDP Silga ward 2, Director General Obolo Campaign Organization Hon Taribi Seidoughe, coordinator of Young Restoration LeaderShip Movement consistency 2, Hon Akuodou Godlove Ereibi, Hon Promise Elijah S.A to the commissioner of Agric on political matters , among others.

Responding immediately after receiving the award the recipient,  Hon Prince Doodei Week commended the Chairman and other members of the socio-cultural group (Zozotari Ogbo ) for finding him worthy to be honoured of this unique award. While speaking Doodei urged all well meaning sons and Daughters of Anyama-Ijaw around the globe to embrace Love and as well key into the aims and objectives of the organization.

In his remarks,  The chairman of Southern-Ijaw Local Government Council Hon Kia Ebidoughebofa Nigeria,   feliciate with Agric commissioner for the humanitarian award that was comferred on him. Kia also urged the organization to always exhibit and preach love amongst each as the name implies "ZOZOTARI OGBO" , according to him love is the foundation of peace. 

Still on good will massage, the coordinator of Young Restoration LeaderShip Movement Silga Ward 1 ,Hon Erena Kekebo who has also Served as the former caretaker chairman of Southern-Ijaw Local Government Council noted that, Doodei is a leader with distinction who has never disappointed is subjects at anytime. Therefore this recognition is a sign of good leadership, Erena also urged any aspiring leaders to emulate his leadership styles. he said.

In his closing remarks the Secretary of the socio-cultural group, Barr. Korkor Oyinereweremi Sariki, who is also the Head of Chamber Sariki and Yagba Associate applauded the invited guests and members of the organization for gracing the ceremonial event.says God will also elevate you all.
