Few weeks after the elevation of , Supol Opukeme A Salmon Jp to the rank of deputy supritentend of police , he led the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Sars, Onilekere Base in Ikeja Lagos state, to piece together information surrounding a stolen motorcycle, and returned it to its rightful owner Mallam Abubaka on the 10th of August,2018.
Correspondance of The Eye Tarakiri Boy media gather that, the hoodlums who stole the motocycle from the resident of Abubaka's driver escaped on sighting the patrol van. it didn't end there Dsp Opukeme also present gifts items to him after he learnt that Mallam Abubaka is happily married with three kids.
It was said that, Mallam Abubaka who is a handicap came to the division in company of his driver who has been riding the motocycle on hire purchase where he had earlier reported the theft of the motorcycle . And, after ascertaining him as the true owner of the car and with due documentation, the motocycle released to him.
In appreciation Abubaka commanded Dsp.Opukeme for his prompts action towards the recovery of his motocycle and as well as presenting him with gifts items worth hundreds of narra. In his words, the Nigeria Police needs people like you , who will portray his true image. Therefore he also urged compatriots of Nigeria to emulate the police officer for his benevolent character, he added.
