BAYELSA VIGILANTE CONDEMNS ATTACK ON EGBEMO - ANGALABIRI COMMUNITY

The Ekeremor Local Government Area Coordinator of the Bayelsa State Vigilante Service, Comrade Oruge-Kuro Robert has condemned the attacks on Egbemo-angalabiri community by some unscrupulous elements.

Comrade Robert, who stated this while exchanging views with newsmen shortly after visiting Evangelist Parkins Ogede, Chairman of the service, to brief him of the recent happenings of the community in Yenagoa.

He said, informations at his disposal indicates that some elements are using the protest as a coverups to vent their anger on law abiding citizens capable breaching the public peace in the community.

The Ekeremor Vigilante Coordinator, who used the occasion to call on stakeholders and various interest groups to sheaths their swords and toe the path of peace for the overall development of the state.

While calling for decorum in their protest so as not to jeopardize the existing peace in the state, which is in line with the principles of the Restoration government of Governor Seriake Dickson.
