Chairman of Southern-Ijaw Local Govenment in Bayelsa State, Hon. Kia Ebidoughebofa Nigeria who double has the chairman of the occasion has asked Paramount rulers in their various commiunties to maintain peace and stability in their domains.
He gave the directive in Igbomotoru Community in Southern -Ijaw Local Govenment Area,druing the coronation and presentation of staff of office to His Royal Highest Aseimieghan Ayibaikie Ofongo Buo X the Amananaowei of Igbomotoru on Saturday 9th of June,2018.
The ceremony attracted eminent personanalites from within and outside the state, Hon Champ.Baraladei Daniel Igali including a member of house of representatives Hon Henry Daniel Offongo etc.
The Council boss also reaffirmed the government’s resolve to accord the traditional institution its pride of place in the scheme of things to enable it to maintain peace and stability in the communities across the state.
While speaking he urged the Paramount Ruler to work closely with his chiefs towards ensuring stability in their various domains, he also cautioned the youths to be law abiding in their dealings.
In his remark, the Chairman of the occasion , described the presentation of staff of office to Paramount ruler of Igbomoturo community as a symbol of authority and prayed God to grant him a long and successful reign..
