HON PRINCE DOODEI WEEK, HON BARALADEI IGALI ,CELEBRATE  FISHING FESTIVAL WITH SOUTHERN-IJAW COUNCIL BOSS HON KIA E. NIGERIA AT HIS HOMETOWN.

Bayelsa state commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources Hon. Prince Doodei Week and the honorable member representing the good and great people of Southern Ijaw Constituency III , and also President Nigeria Wrestlering Federation ,Champion Baraladei Igali ,Commissioner for Land and Survey,Bayelsa State , Hon Kuroakeighe Dogu yesterday joined the Southern-Ijaw council boss hon Kia E. Nigeria to celebrate Fishing Festival  in his hometown  Opuama Community in Southern-Ijaw Local Govenment Area Bayelsa State.

The Opuama Fishing Festival  is an age-long annual tradition held at the fishing  Lake in Opuama Community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the State. It is usually graced by beautiful dance performances of the Egbelegbele dance troupe among others.

Other major activities that accompany the festival include the 'exhibition of cultural activities ' and Traditional Singing The festival is held every year on the 1st - 3rd of June .The carnival nature of the celebration attracts people from all walks of life and this year celebration is hoping to be a remarkable and memorable one.
