The Campaign Team/Organisation of an Aspirant/Candidate of Southern Ijaw Federal Consistuency Comr Alaye Tari Theophilus yesterday, received a boost as the Chiefs , Elders, Youths of Igbomotoru Community in Southern-Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa state came out en- masse to welcome the campaign train and support his candidacy in the forth coming general election..
The aspirant was in council in his political ambition of his community to community meet the people, tour ahead of the general election the community he has visited are Opuama , Agoubiri and now Igbomotoru Community which is the hometown of Hon Henry Daniel Ofongo who is currently serving in the Green chamber Silga Federal Consistency.
The people and their leaders said their decision to come out en-masse and back the Compaign term was that ,over the years the people of Southern-Ijaw have been marginalized , in teams of infrastructure such as pipeborne water, school buildings etc that this was as a result of our National leaders who hand pick ,select and as well as choices leaders for us.
In his speech , Comr Alaye Tari Theophilus commented the people of Igbomotoru community for drumming support for his candidacy and he pledge to echoe the heartbeats of the people to the federal Government if voted into power come 2019, he noted.
