The Secretary IYC Action Committee Worldwide Hon Oki Tony who also double as the Coordinator Niger Delta Self Determination Movement Bayelsa state chapter led delegates to the formal Inauguration Ceremony of the Bayelsa state chapter at the its National secretariat in Portharcourt, Rivers state on Saturday,21st July, 2018.

Annkio Briggs the (mother of dragons) reveals that, In the passed few years the Niger Delta region is been faced with past, present and emerging challenges across socio-political, economic and developmental frontiers. In appreciation of these indices and the burning desire to contribute and partner with patriotic Nigerians and others whose goodwill, wisdom and passion to consistently work to salvage our inherent values and to move the region forward, is to collectively and outrightly agitate for the Emancipation of Ijaw Nation.
Speaking further, Annkio stated that, the Niger Delta Self Determination Movement officially came to being in the year 2014, when she was nominated by the former Nigerian President Dr Goodluck Jonathan at the Confab. According Annkio that , "NDSDM"is not a political organization or involved its functions in partisan politics but rather give room for any Ijaw man or Niger deltans who are ready to speak uprightly for the interest of the Ijaw Man , irrespective of the political ideology or differences .While speaking she said , there's absolutely nothing wrong for an Ijaw man to speak for the interest of his region when neccessary which was the mean purpose the Declaration of Isaac Adaka Boro who makes it a clarion call to agitate for a "Resource Control". you can not be a patriotic Nigeria if you are not a patriotic Ijaw man she noted.
The inaugural ceremony was chaired by the Eastern Zonal IYC Chairman Snr Comr Sammy Gerorge lauded the newly elected executives for demonstrating a sence of humility by unanimously working towards their inauguration.
In response imemdately after the inauguration, Hon Oki Tony, applauded the great mother of the dragons/the National Convener of the Movement Hon Annkio Briggs and other leaders of repute for finding him worthy to serve Niger Delta in the capacity of Bayelsa state chapter Coordinator of Niger Delta Self Determination Movement ( NDSDM ).Oki also commends the Dragon leader Comr Gabriel Tomoni Allen and other stakeholders of the IJAW Nation who has been a great strength to the success of this ceremony.
In her remarks the Senator of the 4th mobile parliament Sen. Irene Jumbo who also double as the Chief of staff to the IYC Chairman Eastern Zone ,appreciate the almighty God on behalf the great mother of Dragons for the successful inaugural ceremony , Irene also urged the execos to also unveil the true vision and mission of the Movement for the development and the Emancipation of the Ijaw Nation.
