In it's bid towards eradicating crimes, the Anyama-Ijaw Vigilante has apprehended a criminal element Ferekemebaghe , 25years old, a native of Anyama-Ijaw, who is known for his criminal activities in lgeibiri Community ,Southern-Ijaw
Chairman of the vigilante team Sergt (Rtd ) Daniel Saviour made this known to a social media Analyst, Elaye Igbian-warifaghe aka the Tarakiri Boy, while parading the suspect before members of the
community. Ferekemebaghe was said to have attacked one Mr Ebikeis, a native of Oporoma community at the waterside of Anyama-Ijaw to give him matching ground fee on Saturday 14th of July,2018. in his refusal to yield to his demand ferekemebaghe matchet him with manual saw blend. before the vigilante team could reach the location he was nowhere to be found until last night when they traced him to his hideout in Igeibiri community in Southern-Ijaw local Government Area ,meanwhile Ferekemebaghe has been handover to the Everest police station for prosecution.
He said, since the reinvigorated service has declared full blown war against crimes; there will be no hiding place for criminal elements like drug peddlers, cultists, armed robbers, sea-pirates and other crimes in Anyama-Ijaw Community.
Daniel used the opportunity to give a sound warning to criminal elements who see Anyama-Ijaw as their hideout to steer clear of Anyama-Ijaw Community more especially the waterside area or risk the sledge hammer of the state security agent.
