Ahead of the 2019 general election, Bayelsa State Government has concluded plans to commence sensitisation programme on the need for eligible voters in the state to choose the right kind of leaders.
The sensitisation programme, which will begin next month will include series of social and electronic media engagement, particularly in the various local languages.
Voters Commissioner for Information and Orienta-tion, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, disclosed this in Yenagoa during a visit to some media organisations in the state.
Iworiso-Markson said it was important to start the conversation of having credible people run and win elective positions to sustain the legacies of the current administration.
He urged the people to get ready and use their PVCs to vote in people with the right attitude, driven by the passion for service and not greed, inordinate ambition and other parochial interests.
