SENATE 2019: WE'LL RESIST ANY ATTEMPT TO IMPOSE UDUAGHAN ON US,NIGER DELTA GROUP

-Francis Tayor-

A group under the aegis of Niger Delta Creek Lords (NDCL),an independent group across states in the Niger-Delta has vehemently  frowned at what they perceived as an injustice to be committed by the leadership of the All Progressives,APC about any attempt to impose the former Governor of Delta State,Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan on the people of Delta South Senatorial District for Delta South Senatorial Seat in the forthcoming APC primaries, noting that they will resist any such attempt in its entirety.

The Chairman and Secretary of the group Gen.Owei Nazareth,Gen.Pere Teinowei and the spokesman Comm.Oreva Nath respectively in an interview with press men warned that any attempt of imposition of a candidate against the will of the people will amount to economic loss and failure of APC to get massive support as it is currently enjoyed.

They stressed that the National Chairman of APC and the Delta State chapter "should not in any way align with Dr.Uduaghan to shortchange or alter the original delegates list of the party and will not accept any delegates list prepared thereafter without due process".they stated.

Spokesman of the group, Commander Oreva insisted that APC should do the needful by allowing the party to chose candidate of their choice through free, fair and credible primaries for Delta South Senatorial District Seat in the forthcoming primaries for 2019 polls.Pointing out that the former governor can not deliver even his ward in the 2019 elections, the statement adds.
