2019: ROAD TO ASO ROCK VERY ROUGH - DAVID MARK

2019: ROAD TO ASO ROCK VERY ROUGH - DAVID MARK

A presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, Senator David Mark, has told party delegates that the road to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in 2019 is very tough.

According to him, for the PDP to achieve its mission to remove wrest power from the All Progressives Congress, the opposition party members have to work very hard and collectively.

Mark, a two-term former president of the Senate, said this in an interview with newsmen yesterday shortly after addressing party delegates in Sokoto.

“Our mission is to remove the APC government ,and we have to work very hard and collectively to ensure our successes in the forthcoming elections,” the former Senate president said.

“If I win, (Governor) Tambuwal (who is also a PDP’s presidential aspirant, will support me fully; and if Tambuwal wins, I will support him fully. So, no contest between us,” he stated.

Mark said the PDP would ensure that every Nigerian enjoys his/her rights as enshrined in the constitution.

He added that the party, if elected, would also protect every Nigerian in his/her place of residency.
