The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Bayelsa Central Senatorial seat and member of National Assembly representing Yelga/Kolga Federal Constituency , Hon Douye Diri has commenced a thank you tour in Sabagreia, Kaiama, Zarama and Yenagoa, on the 15th November 2018 WHER he was received by a momental crowd.
The tour was to show appreciation to the party executives for their confidence in voting for him in the party’s primaries held on October 3, 2018 in Yenagoa.Reports gather that, the tour was jointly led by the leadership of the party and candidates for the various constituencies in the two Local Govenment Area,
The Director of Social media , Hon Douye Diri Compaign Team, Southern-Ijaw federal Constituency, Elaye Igbian-Warifagha Yagila quote the party's standard bearer, in his thank you speech at Sabagreia, Kaiama, Zarama that, he would ensure that challenges facing the People of Bayelsa Central were presented before the House and they got attention,Adding that he will not disappoint the constituents if voted into office.

Ealier , the chairman of the Bayelsa state Peoples Democratic Party Hon Moses Cleopas speaking while presenting the standard bearers to the electorates, said that the party is indebted to all members, and stakeholders that participated in the primary election, he also commended the aspirants for demostrating maturity for overwhelmingly supporting the party.
"Let me assure you all that your labour will not go in vain; our party is making frantic effort to reciprocate your goodwill,” he said.
